Shelf life:
Metrix® Reader (Gen 2) is designed to run thousands of tests and does not have an expiration date. We offer a 1-year warranty on all readers.
Each test kit is marked with a Use By date, found at the bottom of the test package. The Metrix COVID-19 Test currently has a shelf life of 18 months; the Metrix COVID/Flu Test currently has a shelf life of 12 months. We are in the process of applying for further shelf life extensions for both products, and will notify our customers if our applications are approved.
Storage:
Please store your test kits and readers between 59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit (15-30 degrees Celsius). We recommend storing your reader in its box to keep it clean of dust or debris.
Shipping:
When you purchase directly from Aptitude, your order is usually shipped via temperature-controlled FedEx 2-day delivery. We have performed rigorous testing of our product and demonstrated that it is stable for shipping under a wide range of temperatures.
Metrix tests are currently authorized for sale, shipment, and use within the United States only. Therefore, we are not able to ship Metrix to other countries.
