Canceled Test
Reader light pattern: One flashing red light, one flashing purple light
A Canceled Test means that the test was interrupted, or didn’t pass quality checks while running. The reader treats test interruptions or improper operating conditions as a Canceled Test to protect you from receiving incorrect results.
To help avoid receiving a Canceled Test, please follow the following tips:
- Always wait until the reader indicates it is “ready” before inserting your test (the white center LED will be solidly illuminated white).
- Do not remove or reposition the test after insertion. Once the test begins running, do not disconnect the power to the reader or remove the sensor until your result is received.
- Ensure that your power supply is sufficient and uninterrupted. Any interruption in power can cause a canceled test.
- Run your test on a stable surface, away from movement and high-traffic areas where it can be moved, bumped, or unplugged during the test run.
- If using a battery pack to power your reader, ensure that the battery pack is set to a “low power” mode.
If you receive a Canceled Test, please discard the test and use a new kit.
